Another cake I sunk my creative juices into for my second son’s fifth birthday. He asked for an island cake so an island cake I tried to make. Delicious combination of chocolate sponge cake, chocolate buttercream, sea themed lollies, crushed biscuits and blue jelly.
This is a twist on the classic Cantonese egg tarts. Citrus is used to give a more fruity sensation to this dessert. A firm filling set on a tasty base makes this a neat slice to carry around for a picnic in the park.
A layered extravaganza of chocolate cake, raspberry jelly, fizzy chocolate discs and buttercream packed inside a bottle shaped chocolate shell and assembled to look like a genuine bottle rocket.
Decadent and divine. These little bite-sized tarts are perfect as an hors d’oeuvres or a special sweet treat at your next dinner party. Each mouthful leaves you wanting more…one is never enough!
